How We Started...
Owner and founder, Laura Russell-Jones, started Posh Baban in 2003, after the birth of her daughter. Inspired by her mother-in-law in Wales, who would knit her first grand-daughter amazing, intricate sweaters, Laura decided to sell these imported hand-knit sweaters made by local women from the village in Anglesey, North Wales. (Note: In a nod to our Welsh heritage, "baban" means "baby.") Realizing that there was a larger market for well-made, hand-crafted baby gifts and clothing, Posh Baban expanded its offerings to include cashmere onesies, silk baby throws, and other stylish gifts that's timeless and made with the finest materials. 10 years later, Posh Baban continues to serve the needs of stylish parents, friends and family who are searching for that perfect gift for that very special baby.
